What is the opportunity?

As an assistant, to support the Senior Management of PMG in effective planning and administration of the tasks assigned,

  • To manage the schedule of the General Manager of ETD and assist the senior management of ETD where necessary.
  • Coordinating with departments in London, EMEA, Head Office and external counterparts to ensure that meetings, business trips etc. are planned effectively and efficiently.
  • To support various administrative tasks conducted by PMG.,

To meet these requirements, you are expected to

  • Take personal responsibility and accountability for delivering results.
  • Effectively, plan, coordinate, identify risks and remediate any issues in all aspects of your work.
  • Take a proactive approach to resolving issues by using personal knowledge and proposing creative solutions within ETD and related business departments.
  • Communicate clearly & effectively in all situations both to senior & junior members of staff.

What will you be doing?

  • To manage the schedule of the GM to ensure that meetings are scheduled efficiently with particular care in recognising the importance of subject matter / attendees.
  • To assist the Senior Management of ETD with their schedules, especially with regards to Committee and Head Office meetings.
  • Support the planning of business trips for ETD Senior Management and also for visitors from EMEA and Head Office.
  • Process various administrative tasks. This will include providing support to other members of PMG.
  • Provide general support to ETD 

What do you need to succeed?

•             Secretarial and administrative skills.

•             Ability to clearly communicate in English & Japanese; both written and oral.

•             Effective time management and task prioritisation.

•             Effective organisational and communication skills.

•             Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurized environment.
