We are recruiting for a Director for the Planning team - within Europe Corporate Finance Department no1.

 

Profile Summary
・    As a Director of the new established Planning team, this role will be responsible for, but not limited to, business planning and promotion, business management, change management, and other planning related activities in JBE

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

Responsibility 
・    Business planning and promotion
・    Formulate and implement practical business plan and strategies together with the senior management
・    Business management
・    Manage and monitor key performance indicators and other measurable targets for JBE; such as, P/L, RWA, and headcount, and report regularly to senior management
・    Support senior management to determine optimal resource allocation, including headcount, budget, and target setting
・    Change management
・    Initiate and coordinate change projects in JBE such as NPC
・    Any other planning related matters
・    Any other ad-hoc activities that has been requested by the senior management 

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

 

Qualifications
・    Bachelor’s degree 
・    Fluent in Japanese and English

 

Skills and Experience
・    Excellent management and leadership skills.
・    Excellent presentation, communication skills and interpersonal skills (empathy, influence, assertion/persuasion etc.) .
・    Excellent coordination skill
・    Excellent skill in data management and analysis
・    Understanding in strategy and policy of Mizuho
・    Experience in Banking business – especially in Japanese Business 
・    Experience in liaising between Tokyo Head Office and the region
