We are recruiting for a Director for Forex Strategy within our Europe Treasury Department
Profile Summary
• Provide competent market related commentary and currency strategy to internal and external clients and support ETD to develop trading businesses and enhance the presence of Mizuho Bank.
• Contribute to expand Corporate and Financial Institution business by providing presentations and skilled reports of FX market(EM currency mainly).
• Maintain and develop current and potential relationships with ETD and the relevant department’s clients by providing FX strategy based on the fundamental analysis and generate profitable opportunities.
• Provide ETD staffs with not only fundamental analysis but also other economic phenomenon to support their sales and trading business.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Development and maintenance of FEG client relationships to maximise profitable foreign exchange and money market business opportunities by providing various fundamental analysis and currency strategies (EM currency mainly).
• Provision of fundamental analysis to client base ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate and co-operate with other ETD groups, business promotion groups, branches and affiliates in to maximise cross-sales opportunity and identify new business targets.
• Share information within FEG and across other Groups within ETD to enhance all staff’s knowledge of economics.
• Seek opportunities to appear on the media for higher Mizuho’s presence.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Broad and thorough knowledge of macro, economic analysis.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese
• Excellent presentation skills to create impressive materials and deliver clear, interesting and persuasive messages, actively considering the expectations, interest and nature of the audience
