What is the opportunity?
A front office customer facing role to principally provide a full support function to the Relationship Manager Team reporting into the Senior Director managing predominantly Consumer and Healthcare clients, including but not limited to preparation of new & renewal credit applications, credit monitoring & administration and Head Office Reporting.
What will you be doing?
- Overseeing the full credit analysis for new, amendment and renewal credit applications for their portfolio;
- Assist with portfolio management duties e.g. analysis of portfolio structure, risk, industry concentration and asset sales;
- Assist the Senior Director in the management of work flow within CFAE;
- Assist in any ad hoc / project related work;
- Assist Relationship Manager Team in marketing activities in respect of ‘opportunistic’ transactions, i.e. involvement in initial deal negotiations in respect of structure, Terms & Conditions etc;
- Overseeing portfolio administration within the assigned Industry Vertical;
- Credit Monitoring including monitoring / internal reporting in accordance with the bank’s procedures;
- Read, understand and comply with MHBK London’s Compliance Manual;
- Be up to date with Anti Money Laundering training;
- Have signed the required Compliance Undertakings
- Report promptly any identified compliance or money laundering risks or actual breaches to the Compliance Department and / or Europe Division
What do you need to succeed?
Essential
- Financial spreadsheets / accounting knowledge
- Cash flow analysis/modelling skills
- Team Management
- Knowledge of syndicated loans and legal documentation
- Knowledge of Bank’s internal rules and procedures
- Computer Literacy
- Time Management
- Initiative
- Team-working and communication skills
- Knowledge of English Law
- Minimise reporting / procedural errors
- Quality of internal support provided
- Achieve timely credit approvals
- To have met compliance responsibilities during the reporting period
- Support the Relationship Management Team(s)
- Minimum 2 ‘A’ Levels or equivalent
Desirable
- Knowledge of industry sectors covered by the Relationship Management Teams.
- A requirement to respond to changing priorities within the role
- Utilise changing systems or procedures
- Degree qualified or equivalent
