We are looking for an Associate to join our Client & Capital Strategy team in London.

 

The successful candidate will join the Client & Capital Strategy team within the Central Portfolio Management (CPM) function, with responsibilities for deal profitability modelling and Client Plan creation in order to facilitate strategic decision making.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide input and analysis to various client & capital initiatives across EMEA, including but not limited to: Deal Approval Committee, Account Planning, Sector & Country reviews, floor and target rate setting, Non-Core portfolio reviews.
  • Work with Front Office (FO) to produce Client Plans and profitability models to be used in the deal approval committee.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert in client and deal profitability modelling, pre-screening client plans, advising FO and providing recommendations to aid decision making.
  • Conduct analysis of client and portfolio profitability, providing insights and recommendations to the wider CPM team and FO.
  • Compile and distribute deal approval minutes. Record, monitor and track action points and report the outcome to Senior Management.
  • Work with the CPM Client Analytics team and FO to design, develop and produce client and portfolio dashboards.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • 3 years of experience in banking
  • Strong numerical and financial skills with the ability to interpret financial information, and design and use financial models.
  • Knowledge of banking products, financial markets, regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication skills, including drafting of procedures, presentation materials, and other necessary documents.
  • Previous client relationship management experience could be advantageous 
  • Advanced excel skills with the ability to efficiently manipulate data
  • Relevant technical degree-level education 
  • Strong team player, confident self-starter with excellent communication skills
