Associate - Loan Agency

We are looking for a Loan Agency Associate. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Other than the Bank’s internal policy and procedures, with the primary focus on Project finance deals, we strongly rely on Finance Documentation driven processes and subsequently, being part of Loan Agency team, the Associate’s responsibilities are:

•            Reviewing and interpreting provisions in capacities such as Global Agent/Intercreditor Agent/Facility Agent including administrative provisions specifically within Project Finance documents and related credit Agreements including other lines of Business such to include Shipping, Corporate, FI’s, Leverage finance

•            Deal onboarding – following Conditions precedent/making deal effective

•            Administering amendments, consents and waivers in liaison with the Borrower, Lenders and advisors

•            Administering the Libor transition related amendments and liaising with Borrower, Lenders and Legal Counsel as necessary leading up to the successful execution of the amendment

•            Margin changes triggered by performance related events i.e. compliance cert/ratings change notifying lenders on Debtdomain

•            Maintaining financial and reporting covenant diaries

•            Managing with borrower of all covenant deliverables

•            Distribution of covenants to the lenders

•            Liaising with lenders on their financial and deal questions i.e. company performance/deal impact /liaise with lawyers and advisors on their behalf.

•            Answering lender queries and obtaining responses from lenders on consents and waivers.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

•            Agency/Loans Business Experience including on Project Finance deals is essential

•            Prior experience of using Debtdomain including setting up of deal sites and disseminating information to the Lenders via the existing sites

•            Business Awareness

•            Team Working

•            Relationship Management

•            Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are vital for this role

•            Ability to adapt and prioritise appropriately in a fast moving and often evolving environment.

•            Previous knowledge of Libor transition related amendments
