We are recruiting for an Analyst/Associate to join the Business Analysis team within the International Acquisition Finance Department on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract

 

Profile Summary


The Business Analysis Team (BAT) sits within the International Acquisition Finance Department (IAFD) and provides essential Middle Office support to the Front Office teams within IAFD. BAT supports both the Asset Management team (including the managed account platform – Stratum) and the Origination team within IAFD and our main duties include assisting the front office teams in the preparation of credit applications, undertaking ratings for new transactions as well as regular and special reviews, submission of KYC / AML information for new customers, carrying out checking, reconciliation and rating reviews to ensure integrity of data, and preparation of various portfolio, financial and Management information reports for both IAFD, Head Office and external Stratum investors. The successful candidate will be joining a fast-paced middle office team which provides high quality, accurate and invaluable support for the IAFD front office teams which it sits alongside.

 

Duties and Responsibilities


•    Managing KYC/AML processes for new clients, ensuring all KYC documentation is collected and verified in accordance with internal KYC policy and submitted to the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) team to complete the on-boarding process.

•    Liaise with CLM team and Compliance to manage the new business pipeline and its on-boarding deadlines, ensuring the relevant approvals have been granted to complete the on-boarding process.

•    Collaborate with the Front Office team to communicate KYC requirements to client effectively, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.

•    Undertaking the submission of customer code set up workflows and ensure data integrity on the internal customer data base (i.e. Matrix and Fenergo)

•    Managing periodic KYC review (Rolling Review) for existing clients, ensuring that CLM team has sufficient information and support to complete the reviews in timely manner.
•    Providing fast and accurate support for the front office teams

•    Carry out any other BAT related tasks, as and when required

 

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience


•    Experience and Knowledge of Financial Services and AML/KYC legislation and related regulations

•    Experience and knowledge of leverage finance and the syndicated loans market

•    Excellent communication skills and client service orientation with both internal and external stakeholders.
•    Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks with good organisational and time management skills 

•    Demonstrable ability to innovate, support change and problem solving skills

•    Strong numerical and analytical skills, detail oriented

•    Ability to work fast and accurately whilst under pressure 

•    Computer literacy:  excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

•    Bachelors Degree or equivalent (desirable)
