Profile Summary 

The Software License Manager is required to be an IT professional who provides technical support cross all SAM requirements for the purchased software entitlements and across a wide spectrum of outsourced software license functionality provided by an external vendor. This person needs to be well versed in software license management, design and deployment. They will also need to have strong people skills as they will be required to interface with external vendors and internal staff, both within IT and the wider user community.   
Making presentations on the use of the available software licenses and the management of the outsourced vendors within the scheduled Service Review meetings and presentations to senior management will also be critical. 

Duties and Responsibilities

•    Experience in managing and maintaining software license entitlements & contract compliancy. 
•    Financial sector or equivalent experience in large global professional services organisations
•    Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic team environment
•    An understanding of working across multiple vendors based in multiple regions within a global organisation and the challenges of working with various time zones, language and cultural differences
•    Experience in Service Management with specific focus on change, incident, problem and capacity management (ITIL)
•    A high level of exposure on one of the industry standard SAM platforms. 
•    Attention to detail and an ability to produce and maintain complex software license usage to reduce risk, both financial and reputational. 
•    Ability to work on projects & BAU requirements.
•    Possible out of hours work will be required for some weekends and evenings for software upgrades.

•    Management of the external vendor who provides the outsourced service and functionality for software asset management.
